Congratulations to Faith and Amelia on this well-deserved achievement. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to their educational goals stood out among an impressive group of applicants.
The Will McLean Foundation extends its appreciation to all of the students who applied and wishes them continued success in their educational pursuits.

Greetings! My name is Faith Anastasia Manner. I am a songwriter-storyteller hoping to bring a new perspective of the world through my songs, art, and stories to the common man. I want to be able to express how I see the world through different forms of media, and music just happens to be one of them. I also enjoy painting, drawing, writing short stories, and reading. I started my musical journey when I was 11 years old at Sandy’s Music Girls Camp and continued to grow through the youth program at Will Fest. I love working with other musicians, both young and old, and greatly enjoy jams. So many people have helped me grow to love playing music and adore the folk community as a whole. That is why I want to spread the same joy of music to others, especially to those younger than myself. I will be attending Warner University as an Education major studying social sciences and literature. I believe everyone has something important to say, and giving each person a way they can say it that is enjoyable is important to me. I plan to continue working with others in both a musical and a writing capacity throughout my lifetime, even before I graduate from university. Thank you for getting to know me. I hope to meet you at Will Fest!

Amelia Gonzalez is a recent Homeschool graduate and aspires to become a doctor with the desire to help as many people as possible live healthy and happy lives. She will be a college freshman in fall at Southeastern University (SEU) in Lakeland, and she will be pursuing a Biology, Medical Sciences degree for her premed journey. Throughout her life, she has displayed a love and passion for singing, songwriting, the guitar, and music as a whole. Being
one of the lead vocalists on her church’s worship team for the past 5 years, getting to participate in Sandy’s MusicGirls camps, and being a part of many other musical activities has fostered and nurtured Amelia’s love for music. She hopes to join the SEU worship team on
campus and will continue to learn, grow, and thrive as a guitarist and a singer-songwriter. Not only does she have a passion for learning and for music, but she is devoted to Jesus and to
sharing the Good News with the goal of leading more people to Christ! She is so incredibly grateful to receive the Will McLean Scholarship, which will support her studies as she begins her college life filled with music, Jesus, learning, and new experiences! She can’t wait to help save the world through music alongside all of the wonderful people in the Will McLean Foundation!
