Preservation of Florida Heritage
- Save local history: Support the mission of "Saving Florida through Music" by keeping the poetry, songs, and lore of late Florida folk artist Will McLean alive.
- Support the arts: Promote performances, research, and training for Florida folk artists and regional culture.
- Youth programs: Help fund and run programs that teach acoustic music, songwriting, and history to young people from elementary school to college age.
- Educational scholarships: Assist in providing continuing education financial support for students pursuing degrees with social significance for the state.
- Free access: Volunteers for the annual 3-day March event at the Florida Sand Music Ranch receive a free three-day festival pass and weekend primitive camping.

Do you have special talents, skills, or professional expertise you'd be willing to share? The Will McLean Foundation welcomes volunteers with experience in accounting, graphic design, marketing, organization and event planning, publicity, communications, folklore outreach, educational programs, fundraising, grant writing, and social media. We also value other skills that can help support our mission.
