Foundation Membership

If you care about Florida's musical heritage, folk traditions, and supporting local artists, becoming a member of the Will McLean Foundation is a practical way to help sustain that work while receiving member benefits.

Some of the strongest reasons to join include:

  • Help preserve Florida's musical and cultural heritage. The Foundation's mission is to support research, education, performances, and training that celebrate the legacy of Will McLean and other Florida artists. It also funds scholarships, grants, and educational programs for future generations.
  • Support Florida musicians. Your membership helps the Foundation present the annual Will McLean Music Festival, operate concert series around the state, and provide performance opportunities for Florida-based songwriters and musicians.
  • Contribute to youth programs. The Foundation invests in young performers through scholarships and educational initiatives that encourage the next generation of Florida artists.
  • Have a voice in the organization. Members become voting members of the Foundation, giving them an opportunity to participate in its future direction.
  • Join a community of volunteers and supporters. The Foundation is run largely by volunteers who organize festivals, concerts, educational programs, and preservation efforts throughout the year.

Current membership levels include:

  • Azalea – $40/year for an individual, with voting rights and a member premium.
  • Cypress – $100/year, adding options such as a festival ticket or camping discount.
  • Magnolia Lifetime – $1,000, providing lifetime voting membership, annual recognition, and additional acknowledgment opportunities.

If you attend the Will McLean Music Festival regularly, enjoy camping at Florida Sand Music Ranch, or simply want to support Florida's folk music and storytelling traditions, membership can provide both tangible benefits and a way to help sustain the Foundation's long-term mission.

Membership levels are as follows: Azalea, Cypress, Magnolia

Azalea Membership: This is the basic membership, similar to the previous foundation membership.

Annual Azalea Membership

  • Individual: $40
  • Spouse/Partner Add-On: $20

The Principal Member and Spouse/Partner ( must reside at the same address) will both become voting members of the Will McLean Foundation, and each will receive a premium such as a T-shirt, hat, mug, or similar item. The premiums are only available at the Will McLean Music Festival Foundation Booth (while supplies last)

Our Cypress Membership is the Foundation's mid-level membership and includes additional member benefits.

Annual Cypress Membership

  • Individual: $100
  • Spouse/Partner Add-On: $50

The Principal Member and Spouse/Partner (must reside at the same address) will both become voting members of the Will McLean Foundation and will each receive the selected membership benefit listed below.

Option 1 – Member Premiums

  • One T-shirt, cap, or other available premium per member
  • One WillFest admission ticket per member (2 tickets total for a couple membership)

Option 2 – Camping Discount

  • One T-shirt, cap, or other available premium per member
  • One membership discount card for $5 off camping per night at the Florida Sand Music Ranch
    • Valid for WillFest and all open camping events
    • One discount card per couple membership
    • Discount is not valid for other festivals or special events
    • Card is for the member's personal use only and is non-transferable

Option 3 – Donate Your Premium

  • Decline membership premiums and have your entire membership fee support the mission of the Will McLean Foundation.

Magnolia Lifetime Membership

Become a Magnolia Lifetime Member of the Will McLean Foundation and demonstrate your enduring commitment to our mission of "Saving Florida Through Music." Your lifetime membership helps preserve Florida's rich folk music traditions and supports educational programs, cultural events, and future generations of musicians and storytellers.

Magnolia Lifetime Membership

Lifetime Membership: $1,000 (one-time contribution per member)

As a Magnolia Lifetime Member, you will receive:

  • Lifetime voting membership in the Will McLean Foundation.
  • An exclusive annual appreciation gift, such as a T-shirt, hat, mug, or similar commemorative item (available while supplies last).
  • The opportunity to pick up your annual premium at the Will McLean Foundation Booth during the Will McLean Music Festival.

Lifetime Recognition

As a lasting acknowledgment of your support, you may choose to have your name recognized:

  • On the Will McLean Foundation website, and/or
  • On a Magnolia Lifetime Members plaque permanently displayed at Florida Sand Music Ranch (location designated by the Foundation).
